On September 12, within the framework of his visit to Mexico City, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan had a meeting with Marina Bespalova, the Undersecretary for Cultural Development of Mexico.

At the beginning of the meeting, the sides signed the Executive Programme on cooperation in the fields of culture between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Culture of the United Mexican States for the years of 2023-2026".

During the conversation following the signing ceremony, views were exchanged on the development of the Armenian-Mexican cultural ties and exchanges.

The delegation led by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia also met with Blanca Alcalá Ruiz, the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico and members of the Friendship Group of the Mexican Legislative Body with Armenia. The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations, in particular the deepening of inter-parliamentary ties on bilateral and multilateral platforms.

During his visit to Mexico City, Paruyr Hovhannisyan was interviewed by the reputable local daily "Reforma" and "Quadratín" news agency, while another article was published in the well-known "El Universal".

The Deputy Foreign Minister had a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian community of Mexico.
