The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Belgium

On August 22 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutionsof the Kingdom of Belgium met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia
The meeting started with a tête-à-tête and then continued in an enlarged format with the participation of delegations from both countries. The meeting was followed by a joint press conference of the two Ministers.
Within the framework of the visit, the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims.
Hadja Lahbib also visited the "Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center" in Yerevan, taking into account the support provided by the Belgian government to the center in 2021, which greatly contributed to the creation of a microsurgery department in the center.
