On June 8, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan received the newly appointed Director of the Armenian Office of the UN World Food Program Nanna Skau on the occasion of handing over her credentials.

Vahe Gevorgyan extended congratulations to the Director of the WFP and wished fruitful work expressing confidence that Nanna Skau will contribute to the further deepening of cooperation between Armenia and the World Food Program.

In her part, Nanna Skau highly appreciated the program cooperation of the WFP with the Government of Armenia, expressing readiness to exert every effort to continue joint work to ensure food security in Armenia.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the ongoing programs, in particular the "Sustainable School Feeding" and "Whole Grain Value Chain".

Expressing appreciation with the results achieved, the parties highlighted the importance of ensuring the continuity of programs and considering new directions.
