On May 24, the Presidential Palace of the capital of Brazil "Palácio do Planalto" hosted the ceremony of presentation of credentials by Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Armen Yeganyan to President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

The ceremony was also attended by Maria Laura da Rocha, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Celso Amorim, the Head of the Special Department for International Affairs of the Office of the President of Brazil, a number of high-ranking officials of the Foreign Ministry and the Presidential Administration of Brazil.

Ambassador Yeganyan conveyed greetings from the President of Armenia to the President of Brazil and the friendly people of Brazil. President Lula, in turn, addressed his greetings to the President of the Republic of Armenia and noted that he is closely following the events taking place in the South Caucasus region.

Armen Yeganyan also made a note in the book of honorary guests of the Presidential Palace.
