The Ambassador of North Macedonia handed over a copy of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia

On October 26, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia Krum Efremov (residence: Kiev) on the occasion of handing over the copy of credentials.

Deputy Foreign Minister Hovhannisyan congratulated the newly-appointed ambassador and wished him success in his responsible position, stressing the need to develop relations between Armenia and North Macedonia. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia expressed hope that the latter, being the first ambassador of North Macedonia in Armenia, will give new impetus to the bilateral cooperation with his activities.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, Ambassador Efremov assured that he will make maximum efforts to activate and promote the cooperation between Armenia and North Macedonia.

The interlocutors touched upon the issues on political dialogue, interaction in international organizations, development of trade and economic relations, cooperation in educational and cultural fields, as well as the expansion of the legal field.

Paruyr Hovhannisyan also briefed Ambassador Efremov the consequences of the latest aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia on September 13.
