The newly appointed Ambassador of Syria presented copies of her credentials to the Foreign Minister of Armenia

On June 2, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Armenia Nora Arisyan presented the copies of her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.

Minister Mirzoyan congratulated Nora Arisyan and expressed confidence that her diplomatic activities will serve the continuous development of Armenian-Syrian relations and the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The interlocutors greatly appreciated the traditionally friendly ties between the two peoples based on mutual sympathy and trust. In this regard, the role of the Syrian-Armenian community was emphasized.

Underlining that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Syria, the sides touched upon the prospects of strengthening Armenian-Syrian cooperation on bilateral and multilateral dimensions.
