Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Ministry of External Affairs of India

The 9th round of the political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Ministry of External Affairs of India was held on February 18. Mnatsakan Safaryan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia chaired the session from the Armenian side and the Indian side was represented by Reenat Sandhu, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

During the consultations, the parties discussed the agenda of bilateral high-level contacts, the organization of events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and India, as well as the steps of implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting between Foreign Ministers of Armenia and India in October, 2021 in the areas of political, trade and economic, education, culture, defense, communications and development partnership.

Both sides discussed the close cooperation in various international platforms and its further deepening. The parties also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues.
