On February 15, the Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov touched upon the implementation of the agreements reached upon the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26, 2021. The interlocutors emphasized the steps towards increasing the level of security and stability on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the introduction of mechanisms on demarcation and delimitation. 

During the phone conversation, the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation touched upon cooperation on bilateral and multilateral platforms and issues on regional and international agenda.

They exchanged views on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey.
