Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan

On December 2, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in Stockholm to participate in the OSCE Ministerial Council, met with Ruslan Kazakbaev, the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan expressed readiness to take steps towards further deepening of cooperation within the framework of both bilateral and integration unions and international organizations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the full utilisation of existing potential between the two countries in the trade-economic sphere, as well as on the expansion of the existing legal framework between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

The parties also touched upon international and regional security issues.

During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of two countries signed the 2022-2024 Program of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic.
