Newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister

On November 24, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow) Sasivat Wongsinavat presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan.

During the meeting the parties discussed the development of relations between two peoples, in particular tourism, the possibilities of exporting Armenian alcoholic beverages and jewelry productions to Thailand. The issue of expanding the bilateral legal framework was also discussed, including agreements on visa facilitation for tourism, business services and air services.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that Armenia views Thailand as a key actor in South-East Asia and an important part of the Asia-Pacific region, therefore, there are many opportunities to ensure the joint prosperity for two countries. 

There were also discussed the issues of organizing cultural events aimed at discovering Thailand in Armenia, as well as of the cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
