On October 20, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Malta George A. Said Zammit (residence in Valletta), on the occasion of presenting the copy of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador upon his appointment, the Deputy Foreign Minister wished him fruitful and productive work.

Ambassador Said Zamit expressed gratitude for the reception and best wishes, and noted that he will make every effort to contribute to the deepening and strengthening of relations between the two countries.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenian-Maltese relations, including the prospects of cooperation agenda in the bilateral political, economic, scientific and educational spheres.
