The newly appointed Ambassador of Montenegro presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister

On May 24, Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts received the newly appointed Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Kyiv) Dragica Ponorac on the occasion of presenting the copies of her credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on her appointment, Deputy Minister Adonts wished her a fruitful and productive work and success during her important mission.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception and best wishes, Ambassador Ponorac noted that she would make every effort to deepen and strengthen relations between the two friendly countries, and contribute to the advancement of the Armenian-Montenegrin agenda.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenia-Montenegro relations, including the prospects of promoting bilateral political and economic relations and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres.

The Deputy Foreign Minister drew the Ambassador's attention to Azerbaijan's encroachments on the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia, expecting a more active and targeted response from the international community.

Avet Adonts presented the humanitarian situation in Artsakh and the steps being undertaken to solve urgent issues expressing concern over the politicization of the humanitarian assistance process and the creation of artificial obstacles by Azerbaijan in this regard.
