On May 13, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Aivazian held a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis.

Acting Minister Aivazian presented to his counterpart in detail the situation resulting from the provocative actions of Azerbaijan’s armed forces on the state border of the Republic of Armenia, considering inadmissible the attempts to encroach on the territory of the sovereign state of Armenia in violation of international law.

The interlocutors stressed the need to neutralize the threats towards regional stability and peace.
