On March 31 Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian received the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland John Patrick Gallagher on the occasion of presenting the copy of his credentials.

Foreign Minister Aivazian congratulated John Patrick Gallagher on assuming the responsible mission and expressed confidence that the Ambassador will contribute to the strengthening and enriching the Armenian-British bilateral agenda.

As prospective directions of cooperation Minister Aivazian and Ambassador Gallagher highlighted the spheres of economy, science and education, and emphasized the importance of intensifying people-to-people contacts.

Issues on the establishment of regional security and stability have also been discussed during the meeting.
