On March 17, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Aivazian held a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina Felipe Solá.

The Ministers commended the high level relations between Armenia and Argentina, emphasizing the mutual willingness to make practical efforts to further expand and enrich the agenda of cooperation. In this context, both sides emphasized the important role of the Argentinean-Armenian community in strengthening bilateral friendship.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Argentina commended the close cooperation in the multilateral formats on an extended agenda.

In the context of regional security and stability issues, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Aivazian presented to his Argentinean counterpart Sola the humanitarian situation in Artsakh and the steps being undertaken to address it.
