On December 15, Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian received the newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Alexander Konyuk, on the occasion of handing the copies of his credentials.

Congratulating Alexander Konyuk on assuming the responsible mission, Foreign Minister Aivazian expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will contribute to the strengthening and development of Armenian-Belarus relations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the steps being undertaken to enrich the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Belarus and promote the existing dialogue at different levels. Both sides discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation on international platforms, including the EAEU and the CSTO.

Sides touched upon the issues of regional security and stability.
