The main subject of the conversation was the summary of the developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone following the ceasefire agreements. Minister Mnatsakanyan informed his counterpart that Azerbaijan unilaterally renounced the three ceasefire agreements reached through the direct mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and continues the shelling and bombing of the civilian population of Artsakh with prohibited weapons.

Both sides stressed the need for the immediate implementation of agreements on the cessation of hostilities and to establish a sustainable ceasefire maintained through verification mechanisms. The Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on the agreement to hold a meeting in Geneva.
