On October 6, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsaknayan held a phone conversation with Ivan Korčok, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia.

Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed his Slovak counterpart on the situation resulting from the large-scale military hostilities instigated by Azerbaijan against Artsakh in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. In this regard, Minister Mnatsakanyan strongly condemned the deliberate targeting of the civilian population and infrastructure.

Touching upon Turkey’s military support to Azerbaijan, the Foreign Minister stressed that the involvement of foreign terrorist fighters by Turkey in the military operations is a threat to the regional security and peace.
