On July 15, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan received the Heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia.

During the meeting Minister Mnatsakanyan presented to the Ambassadors the situation resulting from the aggressive actions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the northeast direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Foreign Minister of Armenia particularly emphasized that in violating an arrangement on cessation of hostilities reached earlier, Azerbaijan resumed the military operations on July 16 on the state border of the Republic of Armenia in the vicinity of Aygepar and Movses villages of the Tavush region. According to the Minister, these operations of the Azerbaijani side were accompanied by deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure and population.

The Foreign Minister particularly highlighted the necessity of cessation of fire and complete restoration, preservation and strengthening of the ceasefire of 1994.

In the context of regional security and stability, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan condemned the statements of unconditional support to the aggressive actions of Azerbaijan by the military-political leadership of Turkey aimed at undermining the security of the region.
