On July 8, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Avet Adonts held a phone conversation with Krystyna Marty Lang, the acting State Secretary of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic, presenting in detail the steps of Governments aimed at overcoming the pandemic. In this regard, Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts expressed gratitude to the Government of Switzerland for the support provided to Armenia.

Avet Adonts and Krystyna Marty Lang also touched upon the bilateral agenda. The sides highlighted the programs implemented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Armenia which are in line with the directions and priorities set by the Government of Armenia.

The parties underscored the effective cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland in international organizations, while commending the level of the dialogue. In the course of the conversation, sides touched upon the current stage of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship.
