Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan's phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz

On the initiative of the Polish side, on May 7, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a phone conversation with Jacek Czaputowicz, the Foreign Minister of Poland.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jacek Czaputowicz exchanged views on the challenges posed by the COVID-19, the steps towards addressing them, including cooperation within the EU.

In the context of bilateral agenda, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Poland expressed readiness to intensify the Armenian-Polish cooperation in the spheres of mutual interest, including through strengthening the political dialogue.

The agenda of Foreign Ministers’ discussion included issues of ensuring the consistent and effective cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations amid the COVID-19.

During the phone conversation, Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Czaputowicz touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership, highlighting the importance of the Eastern Partnership format as a value-based platform for cooperation. In this context, Minister Mnatsakanyan underscored the role of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement in the development of multilateral and bilateral cooperation with the EU and  EU member states.

The interlocutors exchanged views on pressing issues of international and regional agenda.
