On January 21, Deputy Foreign Minister Grigor Hovhannissian received Adolfo Torres Ramirez, the Chairman of the Mexico-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the House of Representatives of the Congress of Mexico. President of the Armenia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group Nora Arustamyan was also present at the meeting.

The interlocutors highly appreciated friendly relations between the two countries and agreed to take it to a qualitatively new level, highlighting the role of parliamentary diplomacy in this regard.

In the course of the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the issues of promoting cooperation in the spheres of tourism, culture, and education and the intensification of trade and economic ties. An agreement to continue the dialogue on issues of mutual interest was also reached at the meeting.
