On September 27, within the margins of the UN General Assembly 74th session, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Norway had a detailed conversation on a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Both sides expressed their readiness to take effective steps towards the full utilization of cooperation potential in bilateral relations, including through regular consultations between the Foreign Ministries, initiating cooperation projects in the economic and cultural spheres.

Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed his Norwegian counterpart on the broad agenda of reforms initiated by the Armenian Government, highlighting the importance of ensuring the independence and impartiality of the judiciary and increasing public trust in the judicial system. Foreign Minister of Armenia highlighted the active engagement of youth and women in the current processes happening in the country.

The interlocutors touched upon the strengthening and expansion of productive cooperation in international bodies.
