On September 20, on the initiative of the Armenian National Committee of Australia Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met Tim Wilson, member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia.

Welcoming the visit of the delegation to Armenia, Minister Mnatsakanyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to strengthening and deepening partnership with Australia. The interlocutors emphasized the role of interparliamentary cooperation format and highlighted joint efforts to make full use of the existing potential.

In the course of the meeting, the Foreign Minister of Armenia presented Armenia’s foreign policy priorities emphasizing Armenia's continued efforts to promote the agenda of prevention of genocide and crimes against humanity.

At the end of the meeting, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan expressed his gratitude to the Australian Parliamentary Delegation for the consistency in pursuit of recognition of the Armenian Genocide and support for the Nagorno Karabakh peace process.
