The Republic of Armenia, remaining committed to the international humanitarian norms and its international commitments, with the assistance and under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, undertook the process of return of Elvin Arifoğlu Ibrahimov, who had illegally crossed the state border on March 16, to Azerbaijan.

On June 28, the aforementioned person, accompanied by representatives of the delegation of ICRC in Armenia and respective bodies of Armenia, was handed over to the representatives of the delegation of ICRC in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani authorities.

This humanitarian step of the Republic of Armenia was implemented without any preconditions.
