Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Artsakh

On April 13, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia, met with Masis Mayilyan, Foreign Minister of Artsakh․

The sides highlighted the importance of conducting regular consultations and meetings between the two Ministries, which contributes to the strengthening of the dialogue and multilateral cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh.

Ahead of the meeting in Moscow on April 15 the Foreign Ministers discussed a wide range of issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Masis Mailyan once again touched upon the Vienna meetings between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan, Co-Chairs and the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The Ministers exchanged views on creating an environment conducive to peace and humanitarian activities.

Minister Mnatsakanyan reiterated that the security and status of Artsakh are the priorities of the Republic of Armenia, noting that the principle of Artsakh‘s decisive voice and engagement as a main subject of the conflict remains important from the point of view of ensuring the effectiveness of the peace process.
