The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Croatia

On February 16, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Marija Pejčinović Burić, Foreign Minister of Croatia.

The interlocutors underlined the mutual readiness to undertake steps towards the full utilization of existing potential for further expansion and deepening of the bilateral agenda. In this context both sides highlighted the need of activating political dialogue as well as broadening cooperation within international structures.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Croatia noted the importance of taking joint steps aimed at increasing the efficiency of the Council of Europe - a Pan-European platform based on common values ​​and interests.

Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed his interlocutor  on the recent domestic political developments in Armenia and the priorities of the Government's development agenda.

The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the partnership between Armenia and the European Union. Within this context Minister Mnatsakanyan underscored that the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement opens new opportunities for cooperation with the EU member states.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Croatia exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues.
