On November 21, Acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Venice Commission President Gianni Buquicchio.

The Acting FM stressed that the Venice Commission has and continues to be a very important partner for Armenia as a provider of expertise and counsel in the process of implementing legal reforms in line with European standards.

Touching upon the latest domestic political developments in Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized the commitment of the Armenian Government, based on its broad popular mandate, to continue the process of implementing comprehensive reforms, adding that the next step in this process will be the organization of fair and transparent elections that reflect the will of the people.

The sides also outlined the primary directions for future cooperation.
