The Ambassador of Latvia to Armenia presented copies of her credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian

On November 19, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian received Ambassador of Latvia to the Republic of Armenia Ingrīda Levrence, who presented copies of her credentials.

During the meeting, Garen Nazarian congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of her diplomatic mission, expressing hope for the enhancement of multisectoral relations between the countries aimed at fostering fruitful and effective cooperation.

The Deputy Foreign Minister underlined the importance of the unanimous ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement by the Latvian legislature and expressed hope that effective contacts between Armenia and Latvia will continue in bilateral formats as well as within the frameworks of the Eastern Partnership and international organizations.

At the Ambassador’s request, the Deputy Foreign Minister discussed the settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and presented the Armenian side’s views on the issue.

The interlocutors stressed the necessity of steps aimed at the expansion of the shared trade and economic agenda and the deepening of Armenian-Latvian political and economic dialogue.
