On October 11, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Mamady Touré, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea, who is participating in the 17th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

Minister Mnatsakanyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to further development of multifaceted relations with the countries of the African continent, and in this regard, the International Organization of La Francophonie serves as a good platform. Introducing the priorities of Armenia's presidency in the organization, Minister Mnatsakanyan underscored the intention of the Armenian side to further intensify the economic component of the organization.

In the context of bilateral agenda, the interlocutors reiterated the readiness of both sides to take steps towards deepening the cooperation in various areas, highlighting the agriculture and innovation as key spheres. In that context, the Foreign Ministers emphasized as an important step the holding of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
