On October 10th Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Wolfgang Börnsen, the Head of “Germany-Southern Caucasus” parliamentary friendship group of Bundestag.

Minister Nalbandian stressed the great importance of the development of cooperation with Germany in different areas and expressed confidence about the established high-level political dialogue between Armenia and Germany emphasizing particularly the current collaboration between the Parliaments of the two countries which is being realized through reciprocal visits of the Heads of Parliaments and contacts between inter-parliamentary friendship groups. The Minister commended the work of Wolfgang Börnsen as the Head of “Germany-Southern Caucasus” parliamentary friendship group of Bundestag underlining his visit to Nagorno-Karabakh.

During the conversation the sides had an exchange of ideas concerning the further development of Armenian-German relations, Armenia-EU partnership and other issues of bilateral interest.
