On April 29 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Vyacheslav Kovalenko, the Ambassador of Russia in Armenia who is completing his mission.

Minister Nalbandian thanked Ambassador Kovalenko for the effective and active work, noting that during his tenure as Ambassador the Armenian-Russian strategic and allied partnership in all fields have further strengthened.

Ambassador Kovalenko said that he is proud that he has been able to contribute to the development of the friendly relations and expressed his gratitude for the great support that he received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia as Ambassador.

The sides exchanged views concerning the steps taken towards the further development of Armenian-Russian relations.

For the contribution that Ambassador Kovalenko made to the strengthening of the Armenian-Russian relations, Foreign Minister Nalbandian presented the MFA medal to him.
