Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs hosted the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine
10 April, 2013On April 10 acting Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian hosted Andrii Olefirov, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
Expressing his gratitude for the reception Deputy Minister Olefirov highlighted that he is in Yerevan on an honorable mission-to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the President of RA by the instruction of Ukraine’s President.
Edward Nalbandian expressed his satisfaction with the achieved progress of cooperation between the two countries in different areas in recent years, and noted that there are all chances to expand and deepen cooperation.
During the meeting, reference was made to the organization of high-level visits, as well as to steps made to strengthen cooperation in various fields in the framework of the EU's Eastern Partnership program.
Edward Nalbandian presented to the guest the efforts made by Armenia and international community for the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In the context of the discussion of issues concerning the agenda of the presidency of Ukraine in the OSCE, Acting Foreign Minister attached importance to Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, OSCE Acting President Leonid Kojara’s visit to Armenia in June.
