Edward Nalbandian met China's Deputy Minister on Civil Affairs
09 April, 2013On April 9, the Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Gu Zhaoxi the Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, who led a Chinese delegation attending the presidential inauguration ceremony.
Welcoming the guest, Edward Nalbandian highlighted that the deepening of traditional friendly relations with China is an important direction of Armenia's foreign policy and attached importance to the fact that in recent years the Armenian-Chinese cooperation has been dynamically developing including in new sectors. Edward Nalbandian noted that the agreements made during Armenia’s President’s visit to China are actively brought into life and the results are already visible. Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of China to the development of Armenia.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, the head of PRC delegation stressed that China attaches particular importance to the further development and deepening of relations with Armenia.
The sides discussed issues concerning the development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in a number of areas. In this regard especially areas such as industry, agriculture and education sectors were underlined.
