Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs hosted Japanese Ambassador of Foreign Ministry for cooperation in science and technology

On April 9 Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian hosted Shin Maruo, Japanese Ambassador of Foreign Ministry for cooperation in spheres of science and technology.

Welcoming the guest Edward Nalbandian attached importance to the ongoing development of the relationships with friendly Japan.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia noted that the Republic of Armenia’s President Sargsyan’s visit to Japan was a significant boost to the development and strengthening of Armenian-Japanese cooperation and the agreements reached in Tokyo are actively brought into life. He also thanked Japan for the technical support Japan has been providing Armenia since independence.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Ambassador Maruo noted that Armenian-Japanese cooperation had a great potential, especially in the spheres of science and technologies.

The sides referred to a wide range of issues on multilateral cooperation between the two states.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Maruo noted that particularly in the fields of science and technology Armenian- Japanese cooperation has a great potential, and the parties have taken and take significant steps to its use.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues concerning Armenian- Japanese multilateral cooperation.
