Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met the NATO Deputy Secretary General
08 April, 2013On April 8, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met the NATO Deputy Secretary General Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
Welcoming the guest Minister Nalbandian noted that relations between Armenia and NATO are regularly developing which is proved by the high-level visits made in 2012, such as the visit of Armenia's President to the NATO headquarters and the visit of Secretary General of NATO to Armenia.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic noted that NATO attaches importance to the cooperation with Armenia in the process of assuring international security, as well as to Armenia’s contribution to peacekeeping missions in Afghanistan and Kosovo.
Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia is interested in further deepening of political dialogue with NATO and the importance of ongoing cooperation in NATO in different formats.
At the guest's request, the Foreign Minister presented the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
