The meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Vietnam
08 June, 2012Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian who is in Hanoi as a member of the delegation led by the Armenian President, had a meeting with Pham Binh Minh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam on June 8.
Continuing the dialogue started in February of this year, the Ministers mentioned with satisfaction that the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Vietnam was marked with a remarkable event for the bilateral cooperation, the visit of the President of the Republic of Armenia to Vietnam. The sides added as well that the visit was a good opportunity at the highest level to discuss and reach an agreement on the further strengthening and expansion of interaction.
During the meeting the sides had a thorough talk on the issues related to the establishment of cooperation between the MFAs of the two countries, expansion of legal framework, intensification of cultural exchanges, visa regime facilitation, interaction within the international organizations and supporting to each other’s candidates.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Vietnam exchanged views on international agenda issues and the ways of their solutions.
