On July 7, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Karine Kazinian received Zainol Abidin Bin Omar, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Welcoming the guest, Deputy Minister Kazinian wished good luck in fulfilling his new mission and expressed hope that the accreditation of the Malaysian Embassy in Armenia will contribute to the deepening of the Armenian-Malaysian relations, creating a strong basis for their further development.

The Ambassador thanked for the wishes and underlined that his country is interested in establishing relations with Armenia and his appointment is a proof of that commitment. He assured that he would do his utmost to develop bilateral relations.

In the course of the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation. Particularly, it was mutually stressed the importance of the cooperation in the international organizations, as well as the regular contacts on the level of the permanent representatives of the two countries.

During the talk the Deputy Foreign Minister and the Ambassador touched upon the issues related to the regional cooperation.
