On May 5, the Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian received Daniel Yohannes, the Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Edward Nalbandian expressed gratitude to the MCC for the supportive projects implemented during the last five years in Armenia, mentioning that those projects were effective and helped the development of rural areas of Armenia.

Daniel Yohannes said that he arrived in Armenia to personally see the projects implemented by the support of the MCC and is satisfied with the results of those projects. The head of the MCC also praised the cooperation with the Armenian Government during the implementation of the projects.

The Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister highly assessed the dynamics registered recently in the Armenian-American relations, underlining that it creates new possibilities for comprehensive expansion of the cooperation.
