Deputy Minister Karine Kazinian met with the students attending the seminar entitled “The protection of human rights in the settlement of conflicts”
20 April, 2011Today Deputy Minister Karine Kazinian delivered a lecture for the students of the Yerevan State University and Dresden University.
In the course of lecture, Karine Kazinian touched upon the processes of regional integration currently existing in the South Caucasus and relations of Armenian with the neighboring countries. Afterwards, the Deputy Minister answered the questions that interested the students. During the lecture the main directions of the cooperation between Armenia and the EU, as well as progress registered in the negotiations over the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU were presented. The Nagorno-Karabakh issue and Armenian-Turkish relations were touched upon, as well.
The seminar “The protection of human rights in the settlement of conflicts” is an academic seminar organized by the Faculty of Law of the YSU and Foreign Relations Faculty of the Dresden University for the Armenian and German students. The main goal of the seminar is to hold discussions and lectures related to the political and legal aspects of the Karabakh issue.
