The fourth plenary session of negotiations over the Association Agreement took place in Brussels

On March 11, the fourth plenary session of negotiations between Armenia and European Union over the Association Agreement took place in Brussels.

The Armenian delegation was led by the Deputy Foreign Minister, chief negotiator Karine Kazinian. The European delegation was headed by Gunnar Wiegand, the Director for Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus, and Central Asia in the European Commission's Directorate-General for External Relations.

Addressing the opening of the session, the sides expressed satisfaction with progress registered in the negotiations, as well as exchanged views on the visa facilitation and creation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area.
They also summerzed the results of the video-conference held in 2011, as well as discussed the agenda issue.
