The Ambassador of Israel presents the copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian
28 October, 2010On October 28, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed Ambassador of Israel to Armenia Shmuel Meirom (residence in Jerusalem) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.
Congratulating Ambassador Meirom on the occasion of his appointment, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that he will bring his important contribution to the further strengthening of the Armenian-Israeli relations. The Armenian Foreign Minister also expressed the Armenian Foreign Ministry's support to the Ambassador during the implementation of his diplomatic mission.
Ambassador Meirom thanked Minister Nalbandian for the wishes and assured that his country attaches importance to the expansion of the comprehensive cooperation with Armenia. Shmuel Meirom also added that he would do his utmost to develop the interaction between two countries.
Both sides exchanged views on the efforts undertaken towards the solution of the existing problems. In this context, the Israeli Ambassador presented the position of his country on the settlement of the problems in the Middle East.
