Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Norway held political consultations
02 March, 2010On March 2, political consultations on the level of Heads of Departments were held between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Norway in Yerevan.
In the course of consultations the parties discussed a number of issues concerning the agenda of political dialogue in bilateral relations, the expansion of cooperation in the areas of culture, science and education, the enlargement of legal field, the cooperation between the two countries within international organizations and the recent developments in the South Caucasian region. The parties stressed the necessity to continue organizing high-level mutual visits.
During the discussions, they exchanged views on the current stage of negotiation process on Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) issue, as well as touched upon the recent developments in the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.
Diplomats of Armenia and Norway also agreed to hold regular consultations.
