On October 29, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania Evaldas Ignatavicius.

In his welcoming remarks, Minister Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of bilateral relations and stressed that Armenia is interested in deepening and strengthening of mutually beneficial relations with Lithuania.
Evaldas Ignatavicius in his turn highly appreciated friendly relations established between the two countries and mentioned that Lithuania is indented to undertake essential steps for the development of comprehensive partnership in different areas.
In the course of the meeting they both attached importance to the effective cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries. The two had a detailed conversation on the process of Armenia-European Union cooperation, as well as discussed issues concerning the EU Eastern Partnership program.
At the meeting they touched upon regional and international issues of mutual interest.
