Ambassador of Armenia Vasili Ghazaryan presents his credentials to the President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev

On October 22, in the White Hall of the Governmental House of Kyrgyzstan Ambassador of Armenia Vasili Ghazaryan presented his credentials to the President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev.
During the talks that followed the ceremony the two touched upon Armenian-Kyrgyz relations and perspectives of their developments.


Congratulating Ambassador Ghazaryan on his appointment, President Bakiev mentioned that the active cooperation between the two countries within the frameworks of CIS, CSTO and other organisations creates positive basis for the development of bilateral relations. The two stressed the importance of development and deepening of bilateral economic cooperation and the necessity of holding high level mutual visits.
On the same day Ambassador Ghazaryan presented the copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kadyrbek Sarbaev. During the meeting different issues of bilateral agenda were discussed.

On October 22 official opening ceremony of the Office of Honorary Consulate of Armenia to Kyrgyzstan took place in Bishkek. Among the guests of Ambassador Ghazaryan and  Honorary  Consul Petros Shahinian were  Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Ermek Ibraimov, Head of State Protocol service Seit Ubukeev, representatives of executive, legislative bodies, as well as
the Armenian Community.
