Tigran Balayan, Head of Press Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs replies to a question by “MEDIAMAX” News Agency
06 August, 2009Question: Novruz Mamedov, a representative of Azerbaijani President’s Administration insists that Armenia is under pressure to make concessions in the negotiations on the settlement of Karabakh issue. What would be your comment?
Answer: Mamedov’s recent pearls are the evidence that he is not informed and his striving to his wishful thinking as a reality. This was repeatedly publicly noted by OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs. If I am not mistaken, Matthew Bryza stated lately that Mamedov had not participated in a single meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents and, consequently, he can not make judgments concerning the content of the meetings and the essence of the negotiation process.
