On July 20, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Hugo Jose Garcia Hernandez, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

In his welcoming remarks, Edward Nalbandian wished the Ambassador success in his diplomatic mission and expressed hope that the Ambassador will have his considerable contribution to the development of Armenian-Venezuelan relations.

Minister Nalbandian and AmbassadorHugo Jose Garcia Hernandez discussed issues concerning the cooperation between the two countries in political and economic areas as well as the expansion of the legal field.

The two attached importance to the necessity of the closer cooperation in international organizations and the development of interparliamentary ties.
