Question: On November 24 Foreign Minister of Armenia is to leave for Istanbul to present the program of the BSEC’s activity. Will there be any other meetings beside the meeting hold within the framework of the BSEC Secretariat?
Answer: As it has already been informed, on November 24 Foreign Minister of Armenian Edward Nalbandian will pay a one-day visit to Istanbul within the framework of the Armenian Chairman-in-Office in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
Taking advantage of the opportunity that Edward Nalbandian will be in Istanbul, Foreign Minister of Turkey Ali Babacan suggested holding a meeting which was accepted by Minister Nalbandian.
The agenda of the meeting includes issues concerning normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey. Saying normalization of relations we understand establishment of diplomatic relations without any preconditions and opening of borders.
