Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Armenia presents the copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia

On November 10, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan received Raimkul Attakurov, the newly appointed Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.


In his welcoming remarks Shavarsh Kocharyan mentioned that Armenia attaches importance to the development of bilateral relationship with Kyrgyzstan and expressed hope that the appointment of the new Ambassador will promote the intensification and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Raimkul Attakurov underlined that resumption of the activity of Armenian-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on Economic cooperation, as well as visits the two countries’ high-level officials can contribute to the activation of Armenian-Kyrgyz economic relations and development of legal basis.
On the guest’s request Deputy Foreign Minister touched upon Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) peace process and in that context expressed appreciation for balanced position of the Kyrgyz side. They also exchanged ideas on number of regional and international issues.
