Minister Edward Nalbandian meets Leonidas Krizantopulos the BSEC Secretary General
07 September, 2008On September 8 Minister Edward Nalbandian had a working lunch with Leonidas Krizantopulos Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
Edward Nalbandian and Leonidas Krizantopulos discussed issues concerning Armenia's upcoming chairmanship in the BSEC and the events to be held during it.
The two touched upon primary directions of cooperation in the framework of the BSEC, reforms to be implemented and preparations for the Armenian chairmanship in the ortganisation. Minister Nalbandian presented the priorities of the Armenain chairmanship in the BSEC and mentioned that Armenia attaches importance to the multilateral cooperation in the areas of energy, transport, communication, information technologies and other fields within the framework of the BSEC. He also underlined that Armenia intends not only to ensure the continuation of the BSEC activity, but also to enrich it by new elements.
